Do I need a visa? (2026, China)

Canadian passport holders didn't require a visa for entry to China at the time of the 2026 journey. U.S. passport holders needed a Chinese Tourist Visa (L), applied for through the China Online Visa Application System; processing can take up to six weeks. Requirements included a passport valid for at least 6 months with a blank visa page, a copy of the passport information page, and a recent passport-style photo on a white background. Visa expediting services can help with the paperwork. If you don't yet have your visa, contact events@ensembletravel.com right away.
