Ensemble Horizons
FAQ's
YOU MAY NEED TO KNOW
General
May I pay for registration separately from my cabin?
Your registration and accommodations are bundled into one convenient package, making it easy to secure both your event experience and your stateroom at the same time. You’ll be able to choose from multiple stateroom categories, with options for single occupancy or shared cabins.
What is the cost of registration?
Please view Your Horizons Voyage page to explore package pricing, stateroom options and everything included in your Horizons experience.
What is included in my registration package?
Every Ensemble Horizons package includes your event registration, accommodations in your selected stateroom category, and the onboard cruise experience aboard Norwegian Joy.
Your package includes meals in complimentary dining venues, regular coffee, tea, ice water and select juices, onboard entertainment, poolside activities, fitness facilities, sports courts, outdoor pools and hot tubs, and select onboard programming.
Your package also includes the Unlimited Open Bar for each attendee, one Wi-Fi login per cabin, and all taxes, fees and gratuities.
How do I book my stateroom?
It’s all taken care of during Ensemble Horizons registration. Simply choose whether you’ll be travelling single or double occupancy, then select your preferred stateroom category.
During registration, you’ll also have the opportunity to upgrade your stateroom and, for double-occupancy packages, register the second person sharing your cabin.
You’ll select your stateroom category rather than a specific cabin number. Ensemble will assign your stateroom within your selected category approximately 30 days prior to sailing. Specific cabin numbers, deck locations, and proximity to other attendees cannot be guaranteed.
What if I need to cancel? Is my registration refundable?
We understand that plans can change. Cancellation and refund eligibility are based on the date your registration is cancelled:
Through January 4, 2027: 100% of your package price is refundable.
January 5 - February 3, 2027: A 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Cancellation Deadline: February 4, 2027. Cancellations received on or after this date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee and the package is non-refundable.
When is the registration deadline?
Registration closes on February 4, 2027 subject to availability. Horizons capacity is limited and registration may close earlier if inventory sells out.
When should I arrive in Miami?
We strongly recommend arriving in Miami on April 4, 2027, one day prior to embarkation. Norwegian Joy departs Miami on April 5, giving you time to arrive, settle in and begin your Horizons experience without the stress of same-day air travel.
Attendees are responsible for arriving at the Port of Miami in time for embarkation.
When does Horizons begin and end?
Horizons begins onboard Norwegian Joy on April 5, 2027, and concludes prior to disembarkation in Miami on April 9, 2027.

Are meals included?
Yes. Your voyage includes standard onboard breakfast, lunch, dinner and casual dining options, along with meals and dining experiences incorporated into the Ensemble Horizons program.
Specialty dining and personal dining purchases may be available onboard at an additional cost.
Can I attend only part of Horizons?
Ensemble Horizons is designed as one complete experience, bringing together business programming, networking and hosted experiences throughout the voyage. Registration therefore includes the full Horizons program and sailing.
Does Ensemble provide transportation to the port?
You’ll arrange your own transportation to and from the Port of Miami, giving you the flexibility to plan around your individual travel schedule.
We’ll share additional arrival information, port details and helpful transportation recommendations closer to sailing.
Can I attend all Horizons events?
Registered Horizons attendees will have access to the core Horizons program, including meetings, networking and hosted experiences.
From time to time, there may also be smaller invitation-only functions or experiences. These will be clearly identified on the agenda or in your personal event schedule.
May I bring a personal guest? What is the cost, and what is included?
Yes. The shared cabin package price is the same whether you are sharing with another Horizons attendee or a personal guest.
If your cabin mate is attending Horizons, the package includes their Ensemble Horizons registration. If they are joining you as a personal guest, the package includes their guest fee instead of event registration.
Personal guests will enjoy the full cruise experience included with your cabin package, including accommodations in your selected cabin category, the Unlimited Open Bar package, one Wi-Fi login per cabin, standard onboard dining, live entertainment, onboard activities, access to pools, fitness facilities and public areas of the ship, plus public access to Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau.
Personal guests are not registered Ensemble Horizons attendees and therefore will not have access to Horizons business programming or hosted experiences, including meetings, networking functions, Haven access, partner-hosted dine-arounds, hosted activities, or sponsor-hosted invitations such as private Great Stirrup Cay experiences or hosted activities in Nassau.
Will name badges identify attendee type?
Yes. Name badges will clearly identify attendee type, making it easier to connect with the right people and maximize networking opportunities throughout the event.
Do I need a passport?
A valid passport is strongly recommended for all Ensemble Horizons attendees.
For U.S. citizens sailing round-trip from Miami, Norwegian Cruise Line currently permits either a valid passport or approved proof of U.S. citizenship together with a government-issued photo ID. NCL strongly recommends travelling with a passport in case unexpected international travel is required during the trip.
For Canadian citizens and attendees from other countries, a valid passport is required. NCL states that non-U.S. citizens must carry a passport that does not expire within six months of the cruise return date, and additional visa or entry requirements may apply depending on citizenship.
Each attendee is responsible for ensuring they have the proper travel documents required for their citizenship and itinerary. We recommend reviewing NCL’s current travel-document requirements well in advance of sailing, as requirements are subject to change.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes. Your Horizons package includes one Wi-Fi login per cabin.
What if I have accessibility requirements?
We want Ensemble Horizons to be welcoming and accessible for everyone. Please share any accessibility requirements, mobility aids or assistance you may need during registration. The Ensemble Events team will work with Norwegian Cruise Line to help coordinate available accommodations so you can participate as fully and comfortably as possible.
Can I change my name or my guest’s name? What if a different company representative will be attending in my place? How do I make the change?
- Up to 90 days before sailing: full name changes are allowed.
- 89 to 15 days before sailing: one name may be changed without penalty, as long as one of the original guests remains on the reservation.
- Within 14 days of sailing: a name change is treated under the applicable cancellation schedule and may incur cancellation penalties.
- Spelling/name corrections can generally be made up to 48 hours before sailing.
NCL also requires each guest’s full legal name exactly as it appears on their passport or required travel documents.
If you need to change the person sharing your cabin or correct a name, please contact the Ensemble Events team at events@ensembletravel.com as soon as possible.
Please include:
- Your name
- The current cabin occupant’s name
- The new or corrected legal name exactly as it appears on the guest’s passport or government-issued travel documents
Our team will coordinate the change with Norwegian Cruise Line and confirm once it has been completed.
